Full Form of KRA stands for Kenya Revenue Authority. KRA is the government agency in Kenya, which is responsible for accounting, collecting and assessing all revenues that are due to the Kenyan Government in accordance with the country’s laws. The headquarters of the Kenya Revenue Authority is present in Times Tower, which itself is located on the Haile Selassie Avenue. This Avenue is located at the Nairobi’s central business district. Nairobi is the largest city in Kenya, and also its capital. The Parliament Act, Chapter four hundred and sixty-nine of Kenya’s law resulted in the establishment of the KRA. This parliament act became effective in the year 1995.
The operations executed by the KRA are similar to that of a private enterprise. There are five regions in the KRA. These regions are the Western Region, Northern Region, Rift Valley Region, Southern Region and the Central Region. There are six departments in the KRA. Commissioners are head of these departments. These departments include Domestic Services Department for MST (Medium and small taxpayers), Enforcement & Investigation, Corporate Support Services, Customs Service Department, Domestic Taxes Department for LTO (Large Taxpayers’ Office), and Technical Support Services.
The technical support staff consists of the laboratory, dispute resolution, communication & marketing, corporate planning and research, road transport, and quality management & Compliance Risk. The Logistics & Administration, procurement, human resources, regional offices, and finance comprise the corporate support services department. There are some additional departments that help by increasing the official efficiency of the KRA. The departments include Integrity & Ethics, Information communication Technology, Internal Audit & Risk Management and Legal Services.

KRA Full Form refers to Kentucky River Authority. KRA is one of the agencies of Kentucky (or the Commonwealth of Kentucky). The main purpose of this agency involves the operations and maintenance of a set containing locks and dams. Specifically, it manages five locks through fourteen dams along the Kentucky River’s Coast. This agency was built originally by the USACE (United States Army Corps of Engineers). The authority of the agency is now in the process of transference to the Authority. The foundations of the KRA were laid in the year 1986.
The Kentucky River is made navigable by the Kentucky River Authority’s system.
