IQ Full Form is Intelligence Quotient. IQ refers to a single or several standard tests, which determine the relative intelligence of an individual through a measure. In simple terms, IQ is the measure of intelligence of an individual expressed in number. It was the great psychologist William Stem who coined the term IQ. Currently the IQ tests have 100 as the reference score.
Anyone who scores more than 100 is said to have more IQ than an average individual. Similarly, anyone who scores less than hundred is relatively said to have less or very less IQ based on the score. Thus there are certain standard derivations of IQ expected according to the age. Currently, there are variations in IQ tests, based on various aspects of human intelligence namely; spatial ability, memory, mathematical, language ability, and more.
